| I don't know why, but there was a group of pigeons that really like to perching the branches that hung out in this one patch of pines next to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. You know, a feral animal that is a perfect example of urban adaptation and specialization that originated in the steep cliffs of Eurasia with little vegetation so is already at home in the big city came out of the skyscraper area to perch in a tree. |
