| Great horned Owl If you see this owl try to pay as little attention to it as possible. Though more cosmopolitan than other owls, people who do not know better will irritate and possibly kill these amazing birds. This incudes using flash, climbing and/or shaking trees, yelling and hooting (hooting may provoke the bird to attack).
