Today at the bird banding, we saw a bunch of new things! There was a Ruby-crowned Kinglet showing it's ruby crown 'cause it was pissed, a Mourning Dove being banded that we got to pet (they apparently need special bands for their short, chunky legs), Ima and I got to release a Red-winged Blackbird (it bit us real hard!), and I saw my first Mourning Cloak! Thanks to A for spotting it, It was so cool!
